Find the right fit for your store with the Retail Ready Jobs Program

As retailers begin to reopen and start the recovery process, the ARA Retail Ready Jobs Program can help take the time and cost out of looking for skilled staff.

The program is a no-cost employment solution with a two-week trial period. We consult with you to determine your employment needs, and your job positions are promoted through our large network of retail contacts through boards and websites.

Our dedicated trainers educate, support and mentor applicants aligned to retail and select candidates suited to your business needs. See what one of our trainers had to say about a student:

“Kanza is a married mother of two young children. With the support of her husband Kanza has a strong desire to enter the retail workforce. Kanza commenced her work placement at Best & Less Bankstown. Since commencing Kanza has shone creating in-store displays, serving customers, and merchandising stock. The management team has only praise for Kanza’s work ethic and we trust Kanza will see her way through to paid employment.” – Pam, ARA Trainer

Students who have completed the program have secured placement and jobs with some of Australia’s largest retailers. See what our students had to say about their experience:

“I feel like anyone hesitant about starting a new course or to do anything that pushes them out of their comfort zone should just go for it. This course has given me a qualification to start my life and a stronger chance of getting a job in retail. Everyone in the class was very friendly and supportive. It felt like one big family!” –  Kimberley, Student

“Before doing this course, I had been unemployed for just over two years. I was very discouraged after been told numerous times I was overqualified or too old. This course gave me a chance to renew my skills and update my knowledge. My trainer Pam was very encouraging and helpful. For work placement I was given the opportunity to select from a large pool of retailers, which was a huge bonus as it gave me a foot in the door. I completed my placement and was very lucky to get offered a position in my favourite store.” – Maureen, Spotlight
